If any Glory track could be considered a throwback to Spears’s early discography, “Hard to Forget Ya” best fits the bill. This track would have fit nicely along the likes of “Bombastic Love” or “Can’t Make You Love Me.” It’s vibrant and explosive and has a cartoonish quality that evokes the bubblegum pop era of yore. Like most of the tracks on Glory, her vocals are strong, and she sounds like she’s having a great time.
