Can we just take a moment to appreciate the vocal tour de force that is “Thinkin’ About You?” One of the earliest tracks recorded by Spears, it’s where bubblegum pop and 90s R&B collide. Spears frequently harmonizes with herself throughout, delivering one of her most vocally adept performances set to record. This sound would be left behind as Britney evolved into a dance club mainstay, but this remains a delightful artifact of her first studio effort.
