“Selfish” is a slinky and fun bonus cut from 2011’s Femme Fatale. Written and produced by Stargate who had just delivered Rihanna a major hit with “Only Girl (In the World),” Spears sounds confident and playful on the dance track. Though it never rises quite to the heights of “Only Girl (In the World),” Stargate seems to have a knack for delivering raucous middle eights that make the listener stop and pay attention. Definitely a welcome bonus addition to an already great album.
